New ministry for parents and families!

This past month we started a new class at church for kids and parents! Our plan is to run it quarterly with the idea to equip parents with tools to connect with their kids while training them up and encouraging them in their relationship with Jesus! We had 17 different families participate in our first class which was very encouraging! This has been a passion of Debbie’s for a long time and a real Holy Spirit inspired idea to do it in this particular way for our church. It can be hard to get families to come during other times of the week so we held the class during the second half of the Sunday service when we would normally dismiss the kids for Sunday School and just had them bring their parents with them! We felt very encouraged for a first class of this type and praying and planning for God to use it more and more each time we have it to help equip parents to be the best they can be for their kids, connect with their kids in a deeper way and raise up the next generation of committed followers of Jesus!

Please pray for us as we lead this new class that parents would be impacted in a significant way with a desire to love and lead their families and draw closer to Jesus!
